So wie versprochen kommt hier heute das PDF mit den Vokabeln zu Slam von Nick Hornby. Dies ist auch der Abschluss zu dem Buch, nachdem ich es jetzt endlich fertig gelesen habe. Als erstes dachte ich mir, gebe ich euch eine kurze Inhaltsangabe in Englisch, aber mein Englisch ist nicht wirklich so gut und deswegen weiß ich nicht ob ich euch das antun kann 😉 . Aber ich versuche es einfach mal, ich bin ja nicht feige 😉
Slam, a book by Nick Hornby, tells the story of a boy and a girl. Both fall in love and have sex for the first time. They use a condom for the first time and for many times after it, but for one time they use it to late. And here is the point then the trouble begins. The girl is pregnant and now they have to find in a way in a new life.
The story is told by Sam, this is the protagonist of the book. He gives us the information about his life, his family and about Alicia and her family. He shows us his point of view about this story and how it works for him.
Sam is a skateboarder. He loves that and he is a big fan of Tony Hawk. He has a poster of Tony Hawk and talk to them if he is in trouble or he need help. Sometimes, this is what Sam think, Tony Hawk whizzed him to the future, after he knows that Alicia is pregnant. So he can see how the future works and what it brings to him. He can learn to be a father and how it works. At the end of the book he will be whizzed in the future again and so we can learn how it goes on with Sam and Alicia.

Abschließend kann ich noch erwähnen, dass das Buch lesenswert ist, ob ihr es nun in Englisch oder Deutsch lest ist da glaube ich völlig egal.
find die Idee mit den Vokabeln gut. wenn ich ein englisches Buch lese, schlage ich auch immer nach, was das jetzt bedeutet. hab mir vor ein paar Jahren per Hand ne Vokabelliste erstellt.
Ja ich finde, wenn ich ein Wort nachgeschlagen habe, dann kann man es ruhig auch gleich lernen, erleichtert das lesen des nächsten Buches in Englisch mit Sicherheit und man kann gleich wieder neue Vokabeln lernen 😉

Irgendwie habe ich auf diese Frage gewartet. Nein, natürlich nicht. Teil 3 bedeutet, dass ich vorher schon 2 Beiträge über das Buch hier im Blog veröffentlicht habe. Deswegen habe ich auch nicht Kapitel geschrieben 😉 . Wenn ich ehrlich bin, ich kann mich an Kapitel 3 auch gar nicht mehr erinnern, aber da ist die Geschichte ja noch ziemlich am Anfang.
